This is a two-day hands-on bow school we offer in two locations, Meeker, Colorado and Boyd, Texas. We provide the tools and machines and start you with a bow blank that is profiled and tillered; the rest is up to you.
In this class, you will learn how to:
- File your bow’s string grooves;
- Do the limb tips;
- Finish out the handle;
- Tune the bow to ensure correct arrow spine; and
- Spray the final finish.
At the end of class, you will have a finished bow to take home with you.
The class is limited to four students so Master Bow Maker, Mark Horne, can work one-on-one with each student. This is a great learning opportunity where you will also have a lot of fun.

The price of the class includes a DVD on finishing your bow, hands-on instruction, and the finished bow.
Our Standard Bow Kits will have a Bubinga Handle with Bocote Overlays and Black Locust-Maple Cored Limbs.
